All Faculty, Physicians, Psychologists, and Medical Educators from SEMCME Member Institutions
Course Description
Both wellness & equity training and
professional development programs address critical areas in any institution.
This session will provide and fulfill the educational need and provide
practical examples for implementation.
Objectives
After
completing this series, participants will be able to:
1. Identify common wellness and well-being
related frameworks, models, and initiatives.
2. Understand the intersection of wellness and equity as foundations for
inclusive leadership.
3. Begin to formulate their own assessment of wellness initiatives from an
equity lens.
Workshop will include keynote presentation by Dr. Sotto followed by a panel
discussion with local experts sharing best practices from their member
institutions.

The McLaren Health Care designates this activity for a maximum of 2.0 AOA Category 2-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.
Psychology CE: The McLaren Health Care designates this activity for a maximum of 2.0 APA CE Credit. Psychologists should only claim the credit commensurate of their participation in the activity.
Social Work CE: As a Jointly Accredited Organization, McLaren Health Care is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 2.0 General continuing education credits.
